Upper Rooms aka Isak Anderssen is a classical trained musician, working full time as a conductor, composer, musician and cello instructor.

But Upper Rooms is in quite a different corner of the musical spectre. This project is inspired by a.o the german electro scene, eighties synth pop, Kraftwerk, The Residents, drum'n'bass, Aphex Twin, Patrick Pulsinger, Erdem Tunakam and Rephlex and Warp releases. Upper Rooms deals with the simple and the immediate, at times naivistic, but always with a firm base in melody.

The debut album is availiable both as CD and LP, with exclusive tracks on each format.
